Our policy and code

The organization adheres to the following policies in its operations.

  • Risk management policy
    The purpose of this policy is to prevent and mitigate risks associated with the organization's activities and to establish a system that ensures the fulfillment of obligations to employees, clients, customers, and society.
  • Child Protection Policy
    This document is the Cild Protection Policy for Independent Research Institute of Mongolia (IRIM). The policy has been drawn up on the basis of law and guidance that seek to protect children, namely The Constitution of Mongolia (1992), Law on Child Protection (2016), Lan on Fighting Domestic Violence Law (2016) and Law on Prevention of crimes (1997).
  • PSHEA Policy
    Promoting gender equality through our operations and research projects has always been at the core of our organization’s principles as a representative of civil society organizations and the private sector. As a result, our organization joined the National Committee of Gender Equality (NCGE) in 2017, and has since contributed to the implementation of the annual action plan of the NCGE through our research activities.

  • Environment Policy
    [4:48 PM] Misheel Erdenebaatar Environmental policy: The purpose is to support the organization's environmentally-friendly activities, promote sustainable development by being mindful of environmental protection and potential impacts, take responsibility for the environment, encourage appropriate resource use, and reduce, eliminate, and prevent negative impacts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Policy
    The purpose of this policy is to enhance IRIM's benefits by improving relations and coordination with key stakeholders. This policy aims to leverage relationships with other organizations to achieve IRIM's strategic goals.
  • Gender Policy
    The purpose of this Gender Policy is to ensure that IRIM implements Gender-sensitive policies at all levels of its activities, creates a gender-equitable working environment, and strengthens the capacity of partner organizations to conduct Gender-sensitive activities while contributing to solving development challenges through research and consulting services.
ISO QUALITY POLICY (ISO 9001:2015)

IRIM is commited to providing independent research products and services with the highest possible level of quality; that meet international standards and customer satisfaction at all times, using continually improving processes. IRIM has paid close attention to the continuous improvement of its operations in research, evaluation and consultancy service projects, at a professional level. As part of the Institute’s goal since 2016, ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Management was integrated into operations, resulting in IRIM being awarded international certification in August 2022; and an audit certificate in May 2023. IRIM has been implementing the quality policy of ‘Becoming an organization of sustainable development that provides independent research and consultancy services in accordance with international standards and customer needs’ and will continue to focus on the improvement of its operations.
