Within the framework of the JICA-funded project “Promoting Gender-Smart Businesses in Mongolia,” IRIM has been organizing a series of trainings since January for women-owned/led businesses (WMSMEs) and their partner organizations.
As part of this initiative, a practical training titled “Strengthening Data-Driven Decision-Making Based on Gender Statistics” was conducted on February 11 for staff of banks and financial institutions providing financial services to WMSMEs.
The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of financial institutions to deliver gender-responsive financial services, measure the impact of loan products using data, and apply analytical approaches to identify which groups are being reached—and which remain systematically excluded—from financial services.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all representatives from banks and financial institutions who actively participated in the training.
