The preliminary findings of the national-level survey, "Assessment of Health Institutional Preparedness and Health Workers’ Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice in the context of climate change," were presented to stakeholders in the health sector.
On December 12, 2024, the preliminary results of"Assessment of Health Institutional Preparedness and Health Workers’ Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice in the context of climate change," were shared with over 30 key stakeholders, including representatives from the MOH, the NCPH, specialized hospitals, district health centers, the National Health Service, and international development partners.
The survey assessed healthcare workers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding climate change, as well as the preparedness and response capacity of healthcare institutions to address climate-related challenges.
At end of the meeting, participants discussed perspectives and deliberated on practical steps to implement the research findings. The discussion focused on prioritizing actionable recommendations and identifying priority tasks that health institutions could undertake to enhance climate change preparedness.
